In this FAQ section, I’ve gathered answers to the most common questions I receive about my coaching services and golf instruction. Whether you’re curious about the coaching process, want to know what to expect in a session, or have specific questions about improving your game, you’ll find helpful information here.
What should I expect during my first coaching session?
During your first golf coaching session, you can expect a relaxed and supportive environment where we’ll focus on understanding your current skill level, goals, and any specific areas you’d like to improve. We’ll start with a brief discussion about your golfing experience and what you hope to achieve through coaching. Then, I’ll observe your swing, stance, and overall technique through a series of simple drills or practice shots. This initial assessment helps me identify key areas to work on and allows us to create a personalized plan for your improvement. The session is all about setting a solid foundation for your golfing journey, so you’ll leave with clear insights and actionable steps to take your game to the next level.
How often should I take lessons to see improvement in my game?
The timeline for seeing improvement in your game can vary depending on several factors, including your current skill level, how often you practice, and the specific areas you’re focusing on. Generally, most golfers begin to notice positive changes within a few sessions, especially if they’re committed to practicing between lessons. For some, small adjustments in technique or strategy can lead to immediate improvements, while for others, more significant progress might take a few weeks of consistent effort. My goal is to help you see steady progress, building confidence and skills over time, so you can enjoy lasting results on the course
What equipment do I need to bring to a coaching session?
If you're new to the game, don't worry. No equipment required. Of course though feel free to bring your own clubs.
Do you offer group lessons or clinics in addition to one-on-one coaching?
Yes - multiple groups per week catering for different age groups and skill levels. Contact me for more information.
